Satire:
Wrote and presented satirical segments on the TV show “From the Other Side” (Kan 11), “The Day That Was” (Channel 10), and “Tonight” (Keshet 12). Participant in the show “Whatever You Say” (Kan 11).
Roy is Experienced in writing and developing for the international market in the English language.
Current Affairs:
Previously hosted current affairs programs on Galatz, 103fm, and Gali Israel Radio. Served as a political commentator on Central Command and Meet the Press, as well as on the Knesset Channel.
Creative:
Creative and copywriter specializing in political campaigns: the Blue and White campaign 2019, the Likud campaign 2015, the Rob Ha’Ir campaign in Tel Aviv 2013, campaign manager and candidate on the Green Leaf list – the liberal list for the Knesset 2013. Co-creator of the “Steam Police” campaign by the Central Elections Committee to encourage voting in elections.
Creative consultant for high-tech companies, including AGT, Perion Networks, Playstudios.
Animation:
Storyboard artist at the JVP Animation Lab in Jerusalem 2007-2009.
Lead designer for the series DJ & the Fro for MTV USA 2009.
Animation director for independent films and music videos, including the short film Patriot, winner of the Mifal HaPais Award for Animation 2008, and the music video Hard for Me by The Giraffes, which was nominated for Best Music Video at the Annecy Animation Festival, France, in 2008.
Academics:
Graduated with honors from the Animation Department at Bezalel (2001-2005).
Holds an MA in Animation from the Savannah College of Art and Design (2005-2007).
Previously taught storyboard and animation directing at Sapir College and Shenkar. Currently teaches in the Master’s program for Film at Tel Aviv University.
