Director
Yonatan Gurfinkel is the director of the film “Six Times” – a social drama supported by the Israel Film Fund and Keshet Broadcasting.
The film has been seen by over 45,000 viewers nationwide, and has received great reviews, inspiring unprecedented public discourse, including a special screening at the Israeli Parliament.
It has also been sold for international distribution in the US, Spain, Australia, Russia, South Korea, and Eastern Europe. In 2013, it won the Ophir award for Best Actress – Sivan Levi. It also won Best Debut Film at the 2012 Haifa Festival, as well as Best Screenplay and Best Actress.
It also won the “Another Look” Award at the 2012 San Sebastian Film Festival, and participated in the Official Competition at the Tribeca festival, and another 30 international festivals.
