Director
Born in Tel Aviv, Israel, Adam started directing when he was nine years old.
Following the success of a music video he directed for his hip-hop band, Adam began directing numerous videos for Israeli musicians. These projects led him to direct award-winning TV trailers and commercials.
In 2010 Adam co-directed THIS IS SODOM, a feature film parodying the last days of Sodom. The film became one of Israel’s greatest box office successes of the past thirty years.
In 2013 he wrote and directed his second film, FUNERAL AT NOON, a period drama adapted from the critically acclaimed Israeli novel of the same name. The film premiered at the San Sebastian Film Festival, subsequently, it garnered the “Best Actress Award” at the Haifa Film Festival, the “Critics’ Award” at the Montpellier Film Festival, and the “Special Jury Award” at the Cyprus Film Festival.
Adam co-created and solely directed all three seasons of SIRENS, a thriller TV series, in Israel. For his work on it, Adam was nominated for Best Director twice at the Israeli Television Academy Awards. The show’s success has generated significant international interest, with a U.S. remake currently in development.
Adam directed three episodes for season two of Amazon’s ABSENTIA produced by Sony Pictures.
Currently, Sanderson is in post-production on a new thriller series, NUTUK, for Keshet TV.
