Winner of the Israeli Academy Award for “Bracha”, a short film he co-directed alongside Mickey Triest, starring Batel Moseri & Orna Banai. Internationally, “Bracha” won the Best LGBTQIA+ Short Film at the Academy Awards qualifying HollyShorts Film Festival (US), the Audience Award for Best Short Film at OUTshine (US), the Acting Award at Slamdance Film Festival (US) and the César Medal from the Académie des César (FR) among others.
The director (alongside Mickey Triest) and script editor of “Chanshi”, a HOT network (“In Treatment”, “Euphoria”) comedy starring Aleeza Chanowitz (the series’ creator), Emmy winner Henry Winkler (“Happy Days”, “Barry”) and Caroline Aaron (“The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”). “Chanshi” was the first Israeli television series to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival (US).
As a television personality, Geva is a correspondent at the Israeli Emmy Award winning show “MehaTzad Hasheni” (“The Other Side”) on Kan 11 (Israel’s PBS) and hosts comic segments on Tel-Aviv Radio (102FM) as well as the podcast “Aaron Geva’s Gameshow”, which he created and hosts.
Created, edited and led the comic segment on “Ma Nisgar” (“What’s Up”) on Kan 11, and digital shorts for leading Israeli outlets Mako, Kan and HOT.
Works at HOT as a consultant and script editor.
