Alexander Levin is a composer, saxophonist and flautist born in Israel in 1995, living in Manhattan, New York.
For the past six years, Levin has been touring and performing internationally with his original music as well as with world-renowned bassist Omer Avital, with whom he recorded three albums

Levin has performed as a bandleader and as a lead saxophonist in esteemed venues and festivals around the world, among them: “The Marciac Jazz festival”, “Gent Jazz Festival”, “New Morning”, “Duc De Lombards” in France, “Smalls”, “Blue Note” Jazz Club in NYC, and many more. He has been recording and performing with world-class artists such as Ali Jackson, Aaron Goldberg, Avishai Cohen (Bass), Tamir Grinberg, Yoni Rechter, Yemen Blues, Avishai Cohen (Trumpet), Shai Maestro, Eli Degibri, to name a few.

Alexander is a graduate of Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, Rimon’s Excellency program “The Jazz Institute”, served as an excellency program musician in the IDF and is a 12-time winner of high excellency scholarships, including a full tuition scholarship for Berklee College Of Music, “America Israel Foundation” scholarships and the Israeli Conservatory scholarship in honor of Ran Baron.

In 2022 after he released his debut album, “Hand Made”, Alexander was invited by Avishai Cohen to lead a show and perform his original music at the Jerusalem Jazz Festival and followed to pursue his childhood passion and love for film and TV music. In 2022, Alexander started developing his Film & TV composing career. He graduated from Four professional film score and orchestration courses at Berklee College of Music and UCLA.

In 2022/2023 his original composing works included Seven short films, RBCO art fashion clip and Ron Leshem’s (Euphoria) new TV series “Red Skies”, which won first prize in the Berlin Series Festival, as well as in Global India Festival.
