Noah Stollman is one of Israel’s leading film and television writers. He has adapted several literary works to film, among them “Someone to Run With”, which opened the 2006 Jerusalem Film Festival; “The Human Resource Manager”, which won five Israeli film academy awards, including best film and best screenplay; and “Adam Resurrected”, directed by American filmmaker Paul Schrader and starring Jeff Goldblum and Willem Dafoe. Noah’s work for television includes the acclaimed suspense drama “Pillars of Smoke”, a detective series involving the mysterious disappearance of an entire kibbutz. The show was optioned by NBC Studios for a US remake in 2012. Noah’s latest show, The Exchange Principle, is a ten-episode drama that follows a homeless detective (Lior Asheknazi) investigating a murder case on the streets of Tel Aviv. Noah is currently developing a 10 part political-suspense drama with Hagai Levi (In Treatment, The Affair) which received a series order from HBO.
