Idan Hubel

Director and Screenwriter

Mr. Hubel is a cum laude graduate of Sam Spiegel Film and Television School in Jerusalem. During his studies he directed two short films that won prizes and were screened at dozens of festivals worldwide.
2012 – Screenwriter and director of the feature film “The Cutoff Man” starring Moshe Ivgi. The film participated in the Venice Film Festival in 2012, and won Best Actor at the Haifa Festival.
2012 – Screenwriter for “A Very Big Light” – in development
From 2008 – 2010, Mr. Hubel was a cameraman and editor for YNET’s cultural desk.
2007 – Co-writer “Grass Legend” – Daily drama on Channel 10
